The study sought to evaluate the impact of Low Level Laser Therapy with Core stability exercise and Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation with Core Stability Exercise on chronic low back pain subjects. Materials and Methods: The study involved 50 patients with chronic low back pain in the age group 20 to 50 years fulfilling the inclusion criteria were selected using purposive sampling methods. Following their inclusion a consent form was obtained from each of them. The subjects were divided in two groups i.e. group A and group B, each group consisted of 25 patients, without considering the gender of the patients. Group A received LLLT with CSE while Group B received TENS with CSE. The results were assessed with Modified Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire and a Visual Analogue Scale. Tests were performed before and on completion of the study. The study was conducted over period of 10 months. Setting: Dr. M.V. Shetty Physiotherapy Clinic and Govt. Wenlock Hosptal Mangalore. Results: This study proved that the effectiveness of combination of LLLT with CSE (Group A) to TENS with CSE (Group B) was significant. According to the results obtained, it indicated that there was no significant difference in improving pain and IX function within the groups but when LLLT with CSE was compared to TENS with CSE it’s proved that LLLT with CSE is more effective than TENS with CSE in improving pain and functions. Conclusion: This study proved that LLLT with CSE is more effective than TENS with CSE in improving pain and function in subjects with CLBP.
